ABOUT

Jamica Mitchell (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who earned her Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University in 2019 and her Master of Social Work from Fordham University in 2021. She brings a deep commitment to supporting individuals across the lifespan and is passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate their unique healing journeys.

Jamica works with children at all developmental stages, families, and adults, including highly sensitive individuals and those navigating difficult or emotionally complex relationships. She offers compassionate support for clients experiencing relational stress, life transitions, and challenges related to emotional regulation, identity, and connection. Her approach emphasizes empathy, attunement, and creating a safe space where clients feel understood and respected.

Her clinical style is person-centered and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients build deeper, more meaningful connections with themselves and the world around them. Jamica integrates talk therapy, mindfulness practices, somatic exercises, and thoughtful psychoeducation to support insight, emotional awareness, and resilience. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop tools that align with their values and needs.

Jamica believes that healing is not meant to happen in isolation. Her goal as a therapist is to ensure that every individual she works with feels supported, safe, and truly heard—whether they are navigating hardship or cultivating greater joy and fulfillment in their lives.
