BRAINSPOTTING

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps people process and heal from trauma, stress, and emotional blocks. It’s based on the principle that where you look affects how you feel. By identifying specific eye positions—called brainspots—linked to unprocessed experiences, Brainspotting accesses deeper parts of the brain where trauma and stress are stored.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, Brainspotting does not require retelling painful memories in detail. Instead, it uses focused attention, body awareness, and mindfulness to gently release what is held beneath conscious awareness, supporting lasting relief and resilience.

How it works:
With a therapist’s guidance, you locate a brainspot connected to a felt sense in the body. While maintaining focus on that spot, the brain activates its natural healing process, allowing emotions, sensations, or memories to resolve organically.

Benefits include: reduced anxiety, depression, and PTSD symptoms; relief from chronic stress and trauma; improved emotional regulation, creativity, and performance; and greater calm and clarity. Brainspotting is effective for all ages and can support healing from trauma, burnout, grief, or feeling stuck.
