ABOUT
Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining Kelley Counseling & Wellness, she worked with adults in a partial hospitalization program, providing individual and group therapy alongside comprehensive case management services. Brooke also served as a clinical team lead for a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving community mental health, with a particular focus on children and adolescents, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Brooke is passionate about working with diverse populations and has a special interest in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and those navigating gender identity issues. She has extensive experience working with individuals impacted by trauma and high-risk situations, offering crisis counseling, safety planning, and connection to coordinated care and advocacy services.
Brooke is committed to a person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, prioritizing client goals, autonomy, and safety. She specializes in trauma-informed care and integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and sand play therapy. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.
