ABOUT
Ashley Broadwater (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A). She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University and has supported clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Ashley works with adults navigating body image and eating concerns, substance use, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and the development of healthier coping skills. She is especially passionate about helping clients strengthen their relationship with themselves while creating meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.
As a Health at Every Size® (HAES®)-aligned clinician, Ashley provides compassionate, weight-inclusive care rooted in respect for each client’s lived experience. Her therapeutic style is warm, authentic, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. She integrates person-centered therapy with Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring her approach to each client’s individual needs, values, and goals.
Ashley is LGBTQIA+ affirming and can also incorporate Christian-centered support when requested. She offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation to help prospective clients determine whether she may be the right fit for their needs.
