ABOUT
Dr. Amelia Kelley is the owner and clinical supervisor of Kelley Counseling & Wellness. She earned her PhD in Psychology from Capella University in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Counseling from Nazareth College of Rochester in 2005, where she completed internships in adult psychiatric care and adolescent day treatment.
Dr. Kelley provides individual, couples, and family counseling and has worked across a wide range of settings, including schools, outdoor therapy programs, day treatment facilities, and an outpatient methadone clinic serving adults with addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. She has been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC #7483) since 2009 and is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, clinical hypnosis, and somatic, trauma-informed approaches.
She is a Registered Art Therapist (ATR #17-530), a Certified yoga and meditation teacher, and a Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery) leader, supporting addiction recovery and relapse prevention through mind-body practices. Her integrative work emphasizes nervous-system regulation, trauma recovery, and embodied healing through somatic therapy, yoga, meditation, and expressive modalities.
