Destiny Arthur earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina. She has several years of experience working across hospital, outpatient, and private practice settings, supporting individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of clinical concerns. Her training and experience have shaped a strong foundation in trauma-informed and relationally focused care.


Destiny has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, grief, family conflict, and attachment-related challenges. She has a particular interest in supporting couples navigating relationship distress, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals working to strengthen self-esteem and develop a healthier sense of identity. In her work with couples, Destiny focuses on improving communication, fostering emotional safety, and helping partners better understand and respond to one another’s needs.


Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and trauma-informed. Destiny integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy, tailoring interventions to align with each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. She believes that healing and growth occur within safe, supportive relationships and is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting change.
