My name is Brooke and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned my Master’s in Social Work at North Carolina State University. Prior to working at Kelley Counseling, I worked with adults in a partial hospitalization program providing individual and group therapy services in addition to case management. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, providing crisis counseling, resources, and shelter options to survivors.
I was a clinical team lead for a non-profit organization committed to improving community mental health. This organization focused on mental health services for children, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this clinical role, I served high-risk adolescents and families by providing both individual and family therapy and case management services. I have experience working with various populations and issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, childhood trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, conduct disorders, relationship issues, and domestic violence. As a therapist I am committed to a person-centered approach and open collaboration with my clients to ensure their needs and wants are being met. I specialize in trauma informed approaches, using evidence-based therapeutic treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am passionate about providing quality care and meeting clients where they are in their journey. I look forward to meeting you. Contact Brooke at: [email protected] 919-378-1722 |
