Allie Link, LCSW, RYT
My name is Allie Link (she/her), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am a native of Wilmington, North Carolina but have made the Triangle my permanent home in the last decade. I earned my Bachelors of Sociology and Bachelors of Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 and my Masters of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018. My background is in integrated healthcare and I have a particular interest in the relationship between physical and mental health. I have experience working with older teens, adults, and older adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, ADHD, memory loss, OCD, difficult life transitions, and trauma.
I enjoy partnering with clients to set and work toward goals for improving their symptoms as well as their overall quality of life. I firmly believe that anyone can benefit from therapy, and I utilize a variety of evidence-based models to cater to each client’s unique needs. Some of the strategies I may use with clients include Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am a Certified Yoga Teacher and incorporate elements of
yoga and mindfulness to help clients manage a variety of symptoms. I focus on providing robust psycho-education to all clients to ensure we have a shared understanding of why and how the strategies we work on together are aimed at helping them reach their desired outcomes.
In my free time I enjoy visiting local coffee shops, exercising, spending time with my family, walking my dogs, and watching Netflix.
